CMJU Science, International Relations & External Affairs Office (SIREAO) main functions are to coordinate, facilitate, and enhance the university positive enrollment in external programs and links. The office is intended to provide services and expertise to support the University in the development and management
Aims
The aim of the SIREAO is to facilitate the development of external relations with established partners and collaborators nationally, regionally and worldwide. It aims to communicate, collaborate, and conducts academic exchanges with other academic, research and relevant institutions at all three levels.

Goal
To establish relationships locally, regionally and internationally with different entities and to build programs such as student exchange/study abroad programs, internships and scholarship.
To ensure recruitment and participation of students in study abroad and exchange programs.
To organize workshops , conferences and activities to cultivate and maintain CMJU’s relationship with its students and external partners.
To identify external events/activities/conferences beneficial to our students/faculty while encouraging them to take part and serve as CMJU Ambassadors.
To properly implement an action plan for increasing awareness of CMJU’s External Relations Office by liaising with respective departments at CMJU.

Develop external, regional and international initiatives and exchange activities for students, staff and partners.
Identify, prioritize, facilitate and enhance interactions at all levels with selected educational institutions, industry, government, consortia and other international partners.
Devise and manage a comprehensive publicity plan to disseminate information to all partners.
SIREAO Role
The SIREAO provides services to academic departments when they wish to take on external, regional and/or international activities that fit within the University’s mandate and the departments’ respective academic priorities.
It coordinates the establishment, development, and review of the University's formal bilateral and multilateral relations at external, regional and level.
It provides advisory and consultancy services to the faculty and administration and advises in the design and implementation of external, regional and international projects.
Liaises with key government and non-government agencies and diplomatic missions in Sudan and overseas.

SIREAO Specific Duties
Providing information about potential sources of funding, assistance in preparing proposals, and proposal review.
Reviewing and approving agreements and contracts.
Establishing and maintaining external, regional and international inter-university relationships and cooperative partnerships.
Managing visitors' programmes for external, regional and international visitors to the institution;
Coordinating and supporting external, regional and international functions and visits undertaken by members of the Senior University management.
